Isla in Trouble.

She has self-selected her own 'time out' corner and now everytime she gets in trouble (which seems to be happening with increased frequency) she runs for her spot and starts crying.

Don't feel too bad for her - the whole dramatic process is actually pretty funny.

My Little Pretzel Pony.

Me: "Elle, did you eat any pretzels today?"
Elle: "No."
Me: "Did you play with the pretzels today?"
Elle: "No."
Me: "Did anyone else play with the pretzels today?"
Elle: "Yes."
Me: "Was it Isla?"
Elle: "No."
Me: "Was it a friend of yours?"
Elle: "Yes."
Me: "Who?"
Elle: "Pony."
Me: "Why?"
Elle: "He was hungry - and he saw a friend of his in the cabinet."

A Rare Moment.

It took 3 years and 327 days - but we finally got elle to fall asleep in the car seat.

It turns out the recipe is to keep her up about 4 hours past her normal bedtime, have her swim for 3 hours each of those days in the heat, and have her sleep in a sleeping bag on the floor for 3 consecutive nights.

The Predator.

A quick trip to the grocery store (in Indiana) and elle discovered The Predator. Of course, she wanted to buy it so we could put the Mini in the back:
