Toto.

I hope that everyone has a friend in their spiderweb that you can always count on to be there.

No matter the time-lapse between contacts, the miles of distance, or the way that life can get in the way of things - you can pick up exactly where you left off. No guilt trip, no grudge, no nothing. Thanks, buddy.

What's even better? When they find the right person to join them in their madness!

And tell your Moms, 'Thanks, Again!"

Not a bad idea...

From all reports, elle should be crawling in the next month or so -- luckily, we have a solution to baby-proof the house:

Mine, Mine, Mine

Give. Me. Back. My. Wine.

The Periodic Table of Elle

A few facts about our friend, Helium (He).

Elemental helium is an unreactive, colourless odourless monoatomic (noble) gas

Helium is the second most abundant element in the universe after hydrogen

With an atomic weight of 4.0002344, α particles are doubly ionised helium atoms, He2+

It takes one massive, blue, pressurized ballon to lift the leg of a baby named elle:

The forecast?

Well, it was another perfectly gloomy day in Austin - 40s and rain, so you know what that means:

BIKINI TIME!

Hey, Red.

If this keeps up, elle's hair will look like Ronald McDonald in a few months...

The Un-Original Post

Sometimes, I see the picture and it triggers an idea....sometimes it works the other-way-around.

When I downloaded this picture, my first thought was that elle looked like the goofy Gerber baby.

I did a quick search to find the original Gerber picture, and found that nearly every single nutso parent with a baby blog -- at some point -- thought that their precious little offspring looked JUST like the Gerber baby.

How lame.

So - here is our Generic Baby Food Label Baby:

Just a thought...

The Abominable Snowbunny

I really think so...

Since we have trapped in our Igloo for 3 days, I decided to make good use of the time to prepare for our upcoming move to Tokyo - I am working on learning Nihongo, the official language.

My favorite sentence so far...

右も左も支配する頭は今日も肉を食いヨダレを垂らす.

Isn't that great!

Let it Ice, Let it Ice, Let it Ice....

Outside - the city is totally paralyzed by a dash of winter...the city is a ghost-town, and there has even been some snowy-looking things falling at random from the sky:

Inside - It's like a day in Rio...the mojitos are flowing, Samba music shakes the floor, and the bikini makes its' 2007 debut:

Thanks, Rabbi

Greetings from Blogger.

Google needs to get their act together - no uploads on Blogger...again.

Sorry.

What I Did on My Christmas Vacation...

We had a looooonnnnng time in the car -- of course, the entire trip across Interstate 20 was spent safely strapped in the car seat:

Since it is still legal to use farm animals for 'personal pleasure' in Mississippi - elle spent that stretch of road mugging with Mr. Lamb:

Rolled-over for the first time...no sweat:

Ate mushy things from a spoon for the first time:

Learned to hold my own damn bottle:

Carefully opened up a few presents:

And spent the rest of the trip lounging around in my robe:

Remember Me?

See...I'm not the frowning monster in yesterday's picture - I am still fantastically edible:

Not guilty.

Blogger is acting goofy - no pics until they take their medicine!
